Hexiom Connect Review

Hi, I'm ShadowFerret, and today I'm going to review the game Hexiom Connect which was developed by Biclops Games and sponsored by Kongregate .

Hexiom Connect is a game from the original, Hexiom, where you have to move tiles around a board to create a shape. As the levels move on, the game boards get bigger and more challenging shapes need to be created and towards the end, even 3d shapes need to be created! With features such as uploading and creating your own levels, this game could keep you busy for hours.

Graphics - The graphics are mainly good, they aren't as good as some games, but they are mainly good. - 8/10

Audio/Sound - The music when you first play will be very relaxing, but after a while, you might find the need to mute the music. And the special effects. - 7.5/10

Gameplay - The gameplay will keep you busy for hours and will probably have you come back for more! - 10/10

Controls - Some of the most easiest controls a game has ever had, it's just clicking one of the tiles and moving it to another place on the board. - 10/10

Replayability - Unless you don't like puzzle games or are really boring, you would come back to this at least twice. - 9/10

Achievement Unlocked

I'm MyDreamName, and I'm going to be reviewing Achievement Unlocked today, found on websites such as Armor Games and Kongregate.

Achievement Unlocked, developed by Armor Games, is a metagaming game where you control an elephant and try to complete the achievements listed on the side of the screen. The quicker, the better. Many people then take pride in posting their low scores. For this reviewer, my score wasn't as good, but it gave me time to appreciate the game. I highly recommend this game as a 5-10 minute game. So, go on, give it a try on any of the websites above!

GRAPHICS: (9/10): The graphics in the game are great. They nailed the 2D metagaming theme quite nicely.


AUDIO/SOUND: (10/10): I found it a great tune, as it fit the game quite nicely. And for any who do not like it, there is a mute button in the bottom-right corner. Maybe you would even get an achievement for muting it? Only one way to find out.

GAMEPLAY: (10/10): The gameplay was great! Why wouldn't it be? It's a metagame!

CONTROLS: (10/10): Arrow keys, and 1-4 to switch elephant colours. Other various keys are used to beat achievements. Very simple controls, can't really do much to improve there.

DIFFICULTY: (8/10): Medium, hard first time around. May need a hint. This reviewer feels the difficulty is just right. Not much to improve here.

REPLAYABILITY: (8/10): Yes! The competition factor with getting a low time makes it very addictive.
